My birthday is approaching soon and I think I´m going to have myself a little birthday present from overseas. One of my favorite shops is
Onepi. The layers and fabrics totally blow my mind, I just can´t decide which piece I like the best. Shall I get a dress or a skirt or a top? A shawl? Everything??? Their prices are pretty moderate if you look at their
english page. (they mostly write in pretty nice engrish, but I think you´ll get what they mean easily.)
I really
really need your help! I can´t choose! What is your
favorite item in the store? After I received my first package and know that the quality is ok (I will also update this post then), I might also opt for doing a give-away from Onepi, so I need to know what you are into. ^____^ Help!
5 things I am grateful for today:
- cheering people up seems to be my new obsession
- ordering next month´s give-away (theehehe, it´s going to be supercute!)
- reading Katakana that is supposed to mean something in english, but it´s rather a riddle to be solved by us non-japanese people. Such a cute language.
- I think I´ll never be able to NOT wear my bear hat. Maybe if I replace it with cat ears. Maaaybeeee.
- heading out now to play Rayman Origins with Mr.DomDom
p.s.: Sorry that it´s Tuesday for this Mori Girl Monday :)
Hugs to you!
XOXO,
Hi Natalie, I just saw your name in the side bar on facebook. how fun to find you again. I checked your ning site a while back and it was under construction. Love the mori girl outfits!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteIch finde die Kombi mit der grüngrauen Weste total und sowas von süüüüüß! Das würde auch voll zu dir passen :)
ReplyDeleteWow, love the greenish cardi and the yellow one. The white antique dress would suit you good, too.
ReplyDeleteThat first skirt is absolutely gorgeous. I think any girl would want to wear that. It would look really lovely. The same goes for the cawaii lovely antique dress~! Definitely treat yourself to something wonderful for your upcoming birthday!
ReplyDeleteI'd go for the cawaii antique dress, that could easily be matched and layered with things you already own ^__^
ReplyDeleteThe kurumi jumper and whichever skirt it's paired with are lovely, and not overbearing (while I love the mori girl aesthetic, I think for working girls it is important not to look too costume-y. But that's just my two cents! <3
ReplyDeleteI love that online store. But I was absolutely disappointed when I went into their real store, because the selection they had there was tiny, didn't offer any of the clothes I liked from their online store and the prices were somehow crazy compared to the clothes in their online store. :(
ReplyDeleteThat is so exciting you plan on ordering from them soon! I hope I can too one day. n-n As for recommendations, I would say at least a dress, perhaps a skirt as well or a versatile/layering piece? It seems it would be hard to not want to buy everything for sale! Haha~
ReplyDeletethe layered layered skirts. Do let us know how onepi is -- I've never ordered from a foreign language website before ... you've inspired me to hit the thrift shops this weekend (ok ok so I was thinking of going anyway) ... because I love love the layered skirts you showed here ... do you think it would be possible to take a bunch of skirts and sew them together maybe so they're layered? Or one could do mix and match which is what I've been doing. I need some winter weight stuff though...
