Can you believe that February is almost over? How come this year seems to be rushing by like a train out of control? It´ll be 2013 in the blink of an eye. But hold it! I tend to get very anxious at the thought that time just rushes by without me cherishing every moment the way I should. Sometimes it feels like time is out of control. Recently I managed to stay calm and focus on the present situation a lot better. I´ve been reading a
book about the Shaolin state of mind. (I´m terribly sorry, but there´s no english version of it.) It´s not about the fighting aspect, quite on the contrary. Every moment is fleeting and this is why one needs to give it all the attention that it deserves and then let go of it. Because what we mostly do is say "Yes, yes, yes, I´ll wait til I have enough time." Yet that time never comes because we become to occupied by other stuff. I have to learn to focus even better. Be even more present, even more grateful, even more alert. There is no limit to these values. So um, yes. Philosophy lesson over. ^___^
5 things I am grateful for today:
- I had fits of vertigo this evening, but a good nap ALWAYS helps.
- the never-fading magic of lavender oil. (burned yourself? Here you go!)
- Vienna has ended it´s "Siberia-mode" and has gone back to bearable temperatures.
- Bon Iver - Towers
- the pain in my right foot has finally ended after 2 weeks. Yay for health!
A glittery and wonderful week to you,
XOXO
