Perfect weekends are spent outside with friends. They involve hot days and summer rains. Yummy food and delicious ice cream. Happy kids and joking with your little brother. Learning how to walk on a slackline and sleeping for an hour in the afternoon while the rain is heavily pouring against your window. Trimming your bangs and spending some time taking a hot shower. Having coconut cream chocolate cake for breakfast.
Getting away from the Internet is a hard thing to do for me sometimes. It´s a struggle against the feeling of missing out. Not catching up with my online friends (which I hardly got to talk to lately at all *sigh*) feels rough. It sort of feels positively overwhelming when I see that my tumblr dashboard is bursting with inspirations. Life is abundance after all. But life is there for us to be lived. To be experienced. And that is something that needs to happen away from the computer or any other digital device.
I hope you got some "real time" this weekend too, just like I did. It was necessary to recalibrate myself and give Mother Nature some high five for being awesome. You are awesome too by the way. So let me give you a hug for another adventurous week ahead and serve you some cute, relaxing and uplifting songs in my play list.

By the way: If you want to listen to the play list without having my blog open all the time, you can also click here and then go onto "pop out". Voila, there´s your independent player box!
5 things I am grateful for today:
- Today´s summer rain, which was very much needed.
- That spotted woodpecker couple having a chat in our garden.
- My brother patiently explaining the basics of slacklining to me while I hilariously danced my way across the line, waving arms and staring passersby.
- This video of a marriage proposal like it should be! If you don´t cry at the end and laugh tears at the same time, I don´t know what to tell you.
- Moving my body!
Hugs and happy Monday to you!
